I was aware of the connection with Harald II Godwineson but that comes of being a historian! As you say, Gytha (Gita) married Vladimir and the other daughter married a Norman Baron, one of the Rufus family.

It's not known exactly what became of his sons although one may have ended up in the Rus and joined the Varangian guard.
