Abkhazia was indeed once a very popular summer holiday destination (especially Gagra and Pitsunda). Now, in times of COVID restrictions, this is one of the few places where free entry without a visa for Russians has been preserved, and where there are no restrictions - because there is a chance that in the next couple of years Abkhazia will be able to improve its affairs due to a large flow of tourists from Russia.
Tall and with sharp tops are cypresses. These are found all along the Black Sea coast both from the Caucasus and in the Crimea.
