Coming from a place that has several limestone caves and caverns I appreciate your photos. Our caves are deep but not as large as this one in your post. There are three deep caverns but Treak Cliff is my favourite. Mined there is a rare semi-precious mineral called Blue John. It is only mined in the Derbyshire caves. It's made into various items including jewellery (I have earrings). There are stalagmites and stalactites in the caves. One pair are almost touching. I fist saw them over 50 years ago and they still aren't touching!
