Another wonderful trip with much that is interesting and some great photos.

When you were approaching Registan I was surprised to see thousands of yellow pansies in the borders around the grass. They are such a popular British flower and I'd never have guessed there were so many in Samarkand.

The interior photos of the mosque near the end of your post (the Madrash?) reminds me so much of the Alcázar of Seville in Spain, one of my favourite places.
