What an interesting place and some great pictures; I particularly love the camel wall, the frozen tap, that pretty little bridge of the canal and the strange ornate Egg 'flying theatre'. Wasn't there something similar in a park in Moscow that had an exhibition of Achievements? There was a round building (old fashioned compared to the one in your picture but perhaps the forerunner of the modern ones?). It was called something like 'circular cinema or circularama' and had a continuous panorama screen right around the inner wall which had a film that ran showing Russia's history and achievements with the soundtrack explaining it all. I thought at the time it was very clever. It was 50 years ago so my memory isn't perfect but the building with the Space Exhibition was brilliant and if my memory serves me well the 'hammer and sickle' statue was in the park (worker and woman?) which I think got moved some years later.
Glad you had such a good time.
