Похоже, что Природа, понасмотревшись на всю ту фигню, которую человечество вытворяет на этой планете, решила ответить взаимностью. По крайней мере, я воспринимаю именно так ту грозу со снегопадом, которая сегодня, 30 октября, свалилась на московский регион. Впрочем, для того, чтобы заставить человечество задуматься о своих ошибках, этого явно маловато – тут нужно что-то такое, что заставит усомниться в самой перспективе существования человека как биологического вида.

Картинки здесь не будет – мне было жаль расчехлять свою камеру в эту сумасшедшую погоду.

I've only once experienced a thunderblizzard and it is a truly strange thing although some of my Canadian acquaintances seem to be used to it.

They've been having early snow there this year too.

It all separately would not look so strange. A thunderstorm is usually somewhere in spring or summer, and snow is usually in winter. But we had both at the same time here, and all this at the end of October. My first words were: "What the hell is going on here?..."

Thunder-blizzards (?) have been a rarity in my own experience. Extremely so up to now. I did take note of blizzards that have struck early this fall out in Alberta and Saskatchewan this past week, owing to relatives who still live in those provinces. They were not happy about the situation.

Science will surely find some reasonable explanation for this, and therefore humanity will not take it personally again.

Thundersnow is rare here but it does happen occasionally when warmer air tries to rise under colder air. Often the snow deadens the sound of the thunder but at night the lighening can be seen. It's a very strange sight!

This is really a very strange sight, which is comparable in the effect of surprise to a snowfall in the middle of summer (we had this five years ago).
