In spite of it's earthquake past Andijan looks a very pleasant place. It seems most of the towns you have visited are similar in that they all are well cared for with nice parks and gardens, beautiful mosques and other architecture, lots of greenery, a museum and craft shops! Andijan might not have the wealth of treasures of other places but it has much that is enjoyable. The statues are interesting, I love the hippo! It was a shame you couldn't access the fortress but there was still much to explore.
