Few people here celebrate Christmas on December 25th. These are mainly Catholic Koreans, although there are still a small number of Protestants. There are much more Orthodox Christians here, and, interestingly, there are quite a lot of Tatars among them, although Islam is still more traditional for them. So of those who celebrate Christmas here, most do it on January 7, but almost everyone celebrates the New Year, since this celebration is the same for everyone regardless of their religious affiliation (especially since the vast majority here are Muslims).
