Чёрно-белая фотопрогулка на Луговую

Что-то я давно ничего чёрно-белого сюда не выкладывал… И, дабы восполнить этот пробел, вот вам избранные кадры, отснятые мной на фотоплёнку вскоре после нашего возвращения с Волги (и потому природа на этих фотографиях выглядит так, как она выглядела ещё в начале мая).

Собственно, это была очередная пешая прогулка на Луговую, в которую я не забыл прихватить с собой «Любитель» с двумя фотоплёнками. Протяжённость пешей части маршрута составила примерно 8,5 км, что для нас, как вы уже знаете, расстоянием никогда не являлось.

Итак, поехали!

Корова пару раз с сомнением посмотрела на мои действия возле неё, но потом решила, что трава важнее, чем этот странный тип с древней фотокамерой

What camera were you using here?

You may be amused to know that among my camera collection, I have a couple of old Soviet era Zenits which were my main cameras for many years. Built like a T34 tank! Completely solid and unbreakable! I dropped one down a hillside and still it continued to work.

I do like monochrome work.

It's "Lubitel" (released in 1952).
Once upon a time my grandfather tried to shoot with this camera. Then it lay in the closet for many years until one day when I decided to do something with it. I had to disassemble it and do a full maintenance, but now it works almost like new. And I liked to use it with black&white film.

Oh... interesting!
The cameras "Zenit", "Zorki, "FED" are distant descendants of the German camera "Leika II". Previously, these cameras were very popular with us. And - yes, it's really enduring as the crowbar, although the shutter may wear out over many years.

I had a Lubitel 166 twin lens reflex at one time! :o)

This is one of the later modifications. They tried to make it more convenient, but the quality has degraded.
